LOTS to LIST TODAY…!!! I HAVE TONS of INVENTORY that I am going to do BUY IT NOWS ON……

The items are mostly from the TURN OF THE CENTURY …..but please read descriptions…!!!

The LOW prices in no way indicate quality…I am just OVERSTOCKED..and I am offering these to you with discounts so that you can get great QUALITY VINTAGE / ANTIQUE items at a reasonable price…

This auction is for:
A FANTASTIC, FANTASTIC GUARANTEED ANTIQUE BISQUE DOLL DRESS!!!

THIS DRESS IS BEAUTIFUL IN PERSON with the DELICATE CREAM EMBROIDERED WORK on BODICE, SLEEVE EDGE and HEM area on a PINK BACKGROUND!! It has overall fading and ageing..but as you can see it STILL LOOKS STUNNING!!

The embroidered work is very DELCIATE…..It is ALL OVER THE BODICE AREA ON THE FRONT and BACK of the dress…

The HEM area has the same embroidered work all around…

The sleeve edges are DEICATELY SCALLOPED and above that is the same embroidered work…

The dress is delicately gathered…and falls from the bodice …

There are 2 large frayed holes on either side of the dress…but because there is so much GATHERING of the FABRIC, you could stitch the fabric by overlaying the gathering and the holes wouldn’t show when displayed..
There are a few other minor splits in the fabric and the fabric is gently aged but nice…There are also a few stains…but in my opinion they are minor and add to the fantastic appearence of this dress…It is SUPER, SUPER GORGEOUS!!!!

The dress is approx 16″ long with sleeves being approx 4 1/2″ long.

It is approx 12 1/2″ around at the underarm level..It has 2 buttons in the back but no button holes…I believe it originally closed with a pin or stitching…..

Although this dress has damage…in my opinion it is a SUPERIOR QUALITY DRESS!!! and will make a FANTASTIC DISPLAY on your favorite bisque doll!!

THIS IS GUARANTEED ANTIQUE!!! It is NOT NEW made from old fabric…It came from an extensive collection that I aquired last year…!!

I have no reserve!

By placing a bid on our items, you are agreeing to all our terms noted. All Sales are Final and items are sold as is. Please use PHOTOS as part of the description.
I work hard for my feedback, and want to make your buying experience with me pleasurable.

I pack EVERYTHING SAFELY as I pack ANTIQUES for a living!!

Also, I am a GREEN ENVIRONMENTLY CONSCIOUS person, using boxes from a clothing store that are NEW, used just to ship items to that store..and are not dirty!!
I do not believe in cutting down more trees to make paper for new boxes.

I also use CLEAN packing material around your item and CLEAN NEWSPAPER that is just part of the packing and does not come in contact with your item which has been carefully wrapped first…

Shifting to Thrifting

Shifting to Thrifting

thrift-store

When the economy isn’t at its best and jobs aren’t easy to find, how does one go shopping and still be fashionable? The first thing that came to my mind was: thrifting! Although I don’t go thrifting that much (I really just don’t go shopping), I find thrift stores awfully cheap with some items that you could never find at a regular store. Plus you can find some designer items that are worth so much more than the price at thrift stores.

But what about all those other people that resent going to thrift stores? They always tell me, “Someone else has worn that,” or “It’s not new.” Yes, someone else has probably worn the clothes sold at thrift stores, but what’s so wrong with that? Or some find thrifting part of the lower class and hate the idea of bargain shopping.

I really wouldn’t feel the pressure of going into a thrift store and I don’t look over my shoulder to see if someone’s watching. Nor do I feel guilty about buying something that I know I could have bought at full price. All I can say is that as long as the clothes are fashionable I don’t mind going thrifting for it. Some of the most stylish people thrift, so why not? And this is for all those people that think they need to spend lots of money to look good: You really can’t buy style!
