Trendy and Flattering Short Hairstyles For Round Faces

Round faces are different from chubby faces and differ in the facial features also. Basic geometry of the two kinds differs vastly from one another. A round face would have the perfect round shape with the length and the width of the face reading the same size while a chubby face might have extra cheek fat or extra fat due to body fat. Oval face shapes are the ones that would go with any kind of hairstyle. So one has to be very careful in choosing short hairstyles for round faces, as a wrong choice would make the face look more round and chubby.

Trendy and Flattering Short Hairstyles For Round Faces-4The ultimate aim of any person with a round face is to get a haircut which is not going to make the face look more round and that means the volume of the hair that has to form around the face should not be very thick. Getting the hair done with the hair reaching the chin makes it look elegant and rich. The hair should also be made to look smooth so that some part of it can be put to the side and some on the cheeks to cover the borders of the width and as well to give a stylish appearance.

Trendy and Flattering Short Hairstyles For Round Faces-3Blunt cuts at the end of short hair are not suggested and one should also take care that curly, short hair may not look very flattering either. Some celebrities with round faces who had great-looking short hair and looked gorgeous include Catherine Zeta Jones, Kirsten Dunst, Michelle Williams, Cameron Diaz and Oprah Winfrey.

Trendy and Flattering Short Hairstyles For Round Faces-2Your best bet is to study the different hairstyles that would suit the face best, and it's certainly a good idea to do so before making to any trips to the salon. Dependable salons also offer consulting services that would direct one to the perfect hairstyle.

Breaking the volume of the face is an important aspect and all it requires is to break the volume of the hair or to make it appear as if the volume is broken. If the decision is to keep the hair real short, then the best option to go for the pixie cut. A pixie cut will keep the hair short and intact in volume and will also give a spiky and wet look to the hair, leaving it sexy. Such types of hair are easy to maintain and have also been tried by many of the super models and actresses.

Trendy and Flattering Short Hairstyles For Round Faces-1 Wispy ends of hair, with a sort of shaggy look, is another option that leaves you looking hot and sexy, and is a favorite among short hairstyles for round faces. This type of hair style would require leaving the hair cut between the chin and the shoulder area. This kind of hairstyle is an added advantage to those who have natural, wavy hair.

This wavy hair would provide enough volume that is required near the cheek area, and would give a classy appearance. A very important aspect that needs attention is the usage of hair color after the cut, as one wrong choice would entirely distort the haircut.

Emo boy Shaant Hacikyan

What can you say about Shaants' hair? This is the perfect example of a shaggy emo hair that hangs over the side of one's face, covering your desired eye in a side bang type fashion. Shaants' hair is long and partially hide his face, sometimes covering his eyes.

Achieving this is very simple. Just grow your hair long enough and employ a hair gel or a wax to keep your bangs right where you want it. A medium hold gel would be the best option to achieve this hairstyle.

HAIRSTYLES FOR ROUND FACE SHAPES.

Haircuts for round face shapes is a dilemma even for celebrity hairstylists. Round face shapes are the most miss-diagnosed and misunderstood of all face shapes. About 75% of women reading this article, think they have a round face shape. don’t. That is about the percentage of women who get it wrong.

“I have round face!” is how the disappointed woman will announce her perceived round face shape. It is said, in such a way, as if having a round face shape is a failure of sorts. How did round face shapes get such a bad rap? Maybe because it is wrongly equated with being overweight. Round face shapes can be the most exquisite and lovely faces of all. Women will quickly mis-diagnose their face shape as round, after a small weight gain, say, or after a long winter of indulging in a multitude of sins. But, a small weight gain usually Hair styles can enhance a round face shape will not change an oval face shape to a round face shape. Bone structure is the most important factor in the geometry that makes up our visual face shape.

A weight gain though is all too quick to stare us back in the mirror, everywhere, including on our faces . So, it’s easy to understand how this kind of misnomer happens. In our own critics eye, we may indeed look more round, when in truth, the weight gain has just made the face shape a heart, fuller oval, rectangle or whatever shape we’ve had since puberty.

Not many people have truly a round face shape. A round face shape is a perfectly symmetrical shape after all. The characteristics that go into making a face appear round are, rounded jaw line, widest part of the face being at the cheeks and ears, a face that is close to being as wide as it is high.

The underlying bone structure may allow for fuller looking cheeks. Also, if the eyes are big and round, this adds to the illusion of looking more round. I am certain some round face shapes can be the most exquisite and lovely faces of all, there are many beautiful celebrities with round faces. One reason, may be the uniqueness of the round face. There just are not many people who have round face shapes. Another reason is that a round face shape alludes softness . . . and here’s the proof!

So, what are the best hairstyles for round faces? Keep these basic hair design principals in mind:

Try:

* Hair styles with fullness and height at the crown
* Soft waves
* Asymmetrical styles
* Off center parts
* Hair styles that are longer or shorter than chin length
* Short hair styles, swept off the face
* Wispy, partial bangs work well and sometimes a short fringy bang
* By layering the top to achieve fullness and keeping the rest of the cut relatively close to the face, your face shape will appear longer and narrower

Avoid:

Chin length hair with rounded lines, that mirrors the faces circular shape

* Straight hair - which looks severe
* Center parts - which can make the face look too round
* Fullness at side of ears
* Straight full bangs
* A rounded haircut ending at the chin will certainly add weight to your face shape. Because the widest part of your face is at the cheeks and ears, you need to avoid having the fullness of the cut here as it will make your face appear wider.

Short Hairstyle Color for Girls

Short hair has dominantly become a style among celebrities. Hollywood actress like Jenny McCarthy, Eva Longoria and Charlize Theron are some of the famous screen beauties that can be easily distinguished with their short hair style. This proves that short hair style is not only a thing of masculinity but also brings out the feminine beauty.

Wearing a short hair would not be complete without choosing the best hair color to match with it. But choosing one’s color to match with the short hair requires certain aspects on one’s feature.

Complexion
One’s complexion can also influence the color of one’s hair. Blondes are best matched with short hair especially to those for white. But excessive can be more damaging than adding beauty. It is best to start lighter shades of color to one’s hair before jumping to another. Hair colors should match one skin to blend that beauty within.

Shape of the face
One’s shape of the face could be a challenging factor consider that short hair and at the same time the color that could match with it. Rounded and oval face can get that glamorous short hair look with a trim below the ear level. In this way, the hair can redefine the shape of one’s face for a gorgeous outlook.

Love for Labels

Love for Labels

Love for Labels

guccilogoA lot of times I wonder why I buy clothes and bags that are covered with labels. Everyone does it whether they do it on purpose or not. My friends and I went through the whole American Eagle and Abercrombie and Fitch phase. And the number of people wearing North Face has seem to grow even bigger these days. But what’s so great about these labels anyway?

In my opinion a North Face jacket was nothing more than an expensive outdoor coat. And the outdoor type of look never appealed to me, but I wanted it just as much as everyone else and probably for the same reason. The North Face label. The little text on the left shoulder. What an embarrassing reason!

Now, a few years after that whole obsession, I find myself with the same kind of fetish, except with higher-end brands like Gucci and Louis Vuitton. Although I’m not as tense about labels, in the back of my mind I know that I want that certain Gucci logo bag or the pair of Chanel sunglasses not exactly because I want or need them, but so I can feel “in style.” It got me thinking, as we grow older do we act the same with different commodities? Are labels constantly going to give us that certain satisfaction that we’ve always felt after buying them?

It may seem that I’m against brands, which is simply untrue, but everyone wearing the same thing gets really boring, no? As much as I love some of the most popular labels it almost seems like buying the same thing equals getting a nod of approval from friends and the community. I know that’s how I felt used to and sometimes even now.

7 Ways to a More Beautiful You

7 Ways to a More Beautiful You

skin-careThere’s so many things to boost your look, but what about the basics? Have we forgotten about them? I know sometimes I have to remind myself to do my daily ritual and I decided to share of few ways to enhance your beauty with the bare minimum.

1. Cleanse and moisturize your face! If you still have acne (like me) refer to acne skin care products like Proactiv or my personal favorite: Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash.

2. Lotion, lotion, lotion. If you want to have soft, radiant skin lotion is the item for you. Just apply lotion or cream to your body (works better after bathing) every day.

3. A must-have in your purse: chapstick (or lipgloss). It’s so easy to get chapped lips, especially in the winter time.

4. Conair is like my favorite word! Combing hair on a daily basis (yes, some girls don’t brush their hair) can easily boost your look!

5. Biting nails isn’t only a bad habit – it also makes your nails look awful… Trim your nails every now and then to give it that natural look.

6. Brush your teeth. I know, this sounds so silly, but your teeth won’t color as fast and plus it gives you that fresh feeling after brushing them!

7. SMILE! Take that frown off your face while listening patiently in class – it’ll make you look so much more attractive.

Those are the few things I strive to do everyday. I know – true beauty comes from the inside, but there’s no harm in trying to make your facial appearance nice, is there?
