New Justin Bieber Hairstyle

Justin Bieber haircut pictures and photos posted by TMZ this afternoon reveal a new look for the teenage superstar. Bieber sported the new look as he sat in a chair with Rascal Flatts lead singer Gary LeVox cutting away. TMZ won the picture lottery in essence, landing several pictures and photos of the new Justin Bieber haircut here on their official website.

What does it mean to be first with the posting of such information? TMZ has certainly made a living from getting scoop after scoop. TMZ also hasn't been slow at all in posting such earth-shattering and search engine dominating pictures. The "Justin Bieber haircut" phrase was first on Google Hot Trends this afternoon as word spread that the young singer had some of his trademark hair removed!! That means the search for pictures and photos of the new "do" became furious as the afternoon moved on.

Justin Bieber is about the hottest commodity going now on internet related searches. The kid can't hardly breathe without it becoming a Top 10 mover and shaker in Google Hot Trends? What does this say for Justin Bieber? What does it say about his fans? His fans are apparently searching for every iota about his personality, looks and style. Bieber mania hasn't just become an obsession for kids listening to his music and watching his videos-the mania well extends into an internet search frenzy.

The funny thing about the latest Justin Bieber pictures and photos is that it doesn't appear that Bieber had that much of his trademark hair removed. It appears to be just a trim in comparison with the fake complete shaving he endured recently on the Jimmy Kimmel show. Whatever the case, Bieber still draws more attention than any other teen in recent memory. Even steady newsmakers like Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift now pale in comparison with the amount of searches that revolve around the Bieber on a weekly basis. He's just that hot right now in terms of internet searching. Just imagine what would happen if the next Justin Bieber haircut pictures and photos to surface actually featured something drastic? Bieber might well occupy the entire top five of the Google Hot Trends search list.

A Guide to China’s Takeover of Fashion’s Front Rows

At the Christian Dior show this past Paris Fashion Week, Jessica Michault tweeted a photograph of five unknown (to us) gorgeous Chinese women sitting together in the front row, with the caption “The future of the fashion world’s front row.” And she’s right.

According to Emma Charlton in her story “China’s passion for fashion on show in Paris” in the AFP, “China’s luxury market is forecast by McKinsey & Co to soar to 27 billion dollars by 2015 — one fifth of the world total — up from 10 billion dollars in 2009.” “It is a country that is passionate about fashion, like all emerging nations where appearance is of the utmost importance,” Didier Grumbach, head of France’s fashion federation, said at a “China in Paris” cocktail party. Fashion bloggers are also a thing in China. Last year, Chanel hosted a group of them at their fall 2011 show, where they sat in the front row.

China has been building a front row presence for a while now and it’s never been as visible as it was in Paris last week. Of course, China’s presence at fashion shows reflects much more than Chinese actresses taking a sudden interest in western fashion. China has become a hugely important market for the fashion industry: designers are opening up more shops in China; designers are doing collabs and exclusives with retailers like Lane Crawford; the CFDA has launched an exchange program with Chinese designers; Net-a-Porter is launching there; and Chinese models are more in demand than ever. So, it follows that designers want Chinese celebrities in their front rows–in the same way that American celebrities are desirable front row guests because of the attention they draw from American consumers.

We know a lot about this rapidly evolving market thanks to Huang Hung, author of WWD’s very informative weekly ChinaFile column, who graciously let us pick her brain about these Chinese celebrities and and how much time we have before China takes over the fashion industry (and the world). The most interesting things we learned:

• There are celebrities in China who have become known for their style. “Celebrities in China also make big fashion statements to get noticed,” she said.

• Chanel and Dior paid for “A-list [Chinese] stars” to come to their shows. But, so did a Chinese media outlet. “Chinese media, realizing fashion news is well-read by their readers, came to Paris with their own starlet,” Hung said. “They also brought their own stylists and make-up. The job of the starlets are to be photographed a lot. However, on the Chinese internet, their looks were laughed at.”

• Chinese stars typically stick to big-name Italian and French brands like “Chanel, Dior, Prada, Armani, etc.”

• We will start seeing more Chinese models in advertisements: “As brands become more focused on the China market, this would be a natural development.”

• In the next five years, China will become the largest fashion market and “might surpass the States in volume”

• Eventually, China will start to have more interesting independent magazine titles that may eclipse American titles down the road.

Click through to learn a little bit more about the starlets we saw at shows like Chanel and Dior. They are definitely ones to watch.

Rocking With Punk Rock Hairstyles & Fashion 2012

Fashion couture companies have embraced the punk rocker look of the ’70s. Recent runway collections from Alexander McQueen, Burberry and more – spurred on by the runaway success of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo novel and its film adaptations – have been marked spikes, studs and black leather. The spirit of punk fashion is hard-edged and free; there is no pressure to put together the “right” outfit in this fashion genre. The more freedom one embraces while achieving the punk rock look, the more authentic he or she appears.

Punk rock fashion is all about authenticity. The punk movement arose in response to the harsh economic climate of the ‘70s, where the youth of the U.S., the U.K. and Australia were hardest hit, and is best marked by iconic bands like The Clash, The Ramones and the Sex Pistols. What resulted from this anti-establishment phenomenon in music was an anti-fashion statement.

It’s no surprise, then, that during an even rougher economic climate, with young people facing harsh unemployment rates yet again, there’s been a resurgence in the punk movement’s style. We’ve got a few ways that you can express your own punk rock affiliation beyond just donning a little leather.

Chopped Layers
A more sophisticated and chic form of the punk rocker hairdo is the chopped layer look. Ask your hairstylist for chopped layers, and he or she will know exactly what you mean. Instead of refining the ends of layers, a hairstylist will cut a more exaggerated diagonal layer. Getting a few highlights can also help you look like the ultimate punk rocker. Red highlights look hot on women with blonde or brown hair.

White Highlights
For women with black or darker hair, one way to create a rocker look is by adding white or grey highlights. White highlights have a very sexy look on women with punk rocker hairstyles. This is a more modern way to achieve a subtle punk rocker look that you can wear everyday.

The Short Bob
The short bob makes women look fierce and strong. The bob frames one’s face and makes any woman look chiseled, smart, and rebellious. You can customize this hairstyle in whatever way looks best for your face shape. If you have a round face, then you may want to get forward bangs cut. If you have a square face shape, then you will want to get a side-sweeping bang.

Shave a Little Off
Shave the back and sides and leave the top of your hair long. Or just shave down the back and leave the front sections. Or shave one side of your head and have cascading locks down the other. The punk movement was about doing all the things that the establishment told you couldn’t be done, so get daring and edgy and bold with your hair. Run with that one crazy idea you’ve always had.

Getting the rocker look is the best way to take on a bold, new attitude for 2012. 2012 is the year of your independence and freedom, why not look the part?
