Discover the most sought-after beauty trends from the New York shows. Whether it's the perfect red-coral lip, the cool “French girl” ponytail, dark-as-midnight eyes, or earthen tones applied almost anywhere, these are the standout looks of the season. By Kari Molvar.
Marc Jacobs: Angular Bangs
Proving that irregular bangs can look chic (not like a mistake with the scissors), hairstylist Guido applied a decent amount of finishing spray for a slick effect, raked pieces to the side with his fingers, then wrapped a sheer scarf around the head for a pretty, party-girl touch.

Ralph Lauren: Glamorous Glow
The roaring twenties inspired the twinkly eyes and rose-petal blush at Ralph Lauren. Makeup artist Tom Pecheux used a matte white eye shadow from eyelid to brow bone, topped off with coat after coat of black mascara. On the cheeks, he swept an apricot blush over the apples, adding a dusting of pink in the center to create a candle-lit glow. A gold lip gloss provided the final, dazzling finish.

Naeem Kahn: Strong Brows With Subtle Lips
The way to wear a bold brow—which is definitely the direction to go in this spring—is with a soft, neutral lip, says James Boehmer, NARS Director of Global Artistry. Here, he went with a nude-toned pencil and lipstick finished with a sparkling champagne beige gloss (NARS Larger Than Life Lip Gloss in Gold Digger to be exact).
Calvin Klein: Flowing Locks
Calvin Klein is nothing if not consistent, keeping with a style that’s pure, natural, and stunning. “This look is supposed to appear as if each girl was just wearing her hair naturally. It’s very Calvin Klein,” said Redken Creative Consultant Guido, who prepped strands with Redken Nature's Rescue Radiant Sea Spray and took a 1-inch curling iron on very straight hair to create a slight bend that looked “as if there was none,” he told us.
